Here is a message from Pastor deNay:
A year ago this coming Sunday, I stood in your pulpit for the first time as a guest preacher. So much has happened in the past year, both joys and sorrows. I am blessed that you have given me the opportunity to journey with you through all of it. Prior to worshiping with you last year, I had attended the Montreat Worship and Music Conference. While I was at the conference, I was awed by all the beautiful hymns found in our Glory to God Hymnal. This Sunday, we will sing many of those hymns during our special Service of Hymns for the Lord's Day. We will also celebrate Holy Communion during the service. Immediately following worship, we will have an opportunity for fellowship as we enjoy a cookout of hamburgers and hot dogs using our new grill that was so thoughtfully donated by Brenda Betts and the ACE Hardware staff.
