Upcoming August Events
Church family, mark your calendars for these exciting events happening in August!

Sunday, August 2 – 11:00 a.m.
Join us for Holy Communion as we gather around the Lord’s Table. During the service, we will also have our Blessing of the Backpacks, praying for students, teachers, school staff, and all those beginning a new school year. Following worship, join us in Harmony Hall for a potluck fellowship lunch.

Sunday, August 9 – 11:00 a.m.
Celebrate with us during our worship service as we conclude our Intergenerational Sunday School series, Building Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood. Come and give thanks for a wonderful summer of learning, fellowship, and growing together in faith.

Sunday, August 16 – 9:30 a.m.
Start the morning with our annual Rally Day Breakfast! Join us for delicious food, fellowship, and an opportunity to reconnect as we prepare for the beginning of a new Sunday School year.

Sunday, August 23 – 9:30 a.m.
Sunday School Classes Resume! We are excited to welcome everyone back to their regular classes. Whether you’re a longtime participant or looking to join a class for the first time, there’s a place for you. Come grow in faith, build relationships, and deepen your walk with Christ.

We hope you’ll join us for each of these special opportunities to worship, learn, and fellowship together. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors—we look forward to seeing you in August!

There are a number of opportunities for you to share your faith with our younger disciples.
  • Work with the older elementary children during Godly Play - read a story, help with a craft.
  • Teach Sunday School starting in the fall.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Liz Hughins.

The Good Shepherd Crew
Meets Most Tuesdays, 8:30 - 11:00 AM

The Good Shepherd Crew serves our church by providing organization to closets, storage areas, and classrooms throughout our church. Our mission is to ensure that all areas of the church are tidy and organized.

What we do: Sort, purge, organize, and provide light cleaning and repair.

This is a relaxed, welcoming opportunity to serve, connect, and make a meaningful difference. We often end our workday with a coffee and devotion. New members are always welcome.
